TOMC were appointed by Texaco in 1998 with a view to developing additional revenue streams from the owned estate. Within certain limits Texaco were happy to throw open the forecourt area to commercialisation. TOMC’s programme saw the development of a substantial large and small format billboard holding and a range of ambient media opportunities on Texaco forecourts and shops up and down the country.
The resultant income stream exceeded all expectations and now represents a significant proportion of on-site revenues.
TOMC continue to introduce new and innovative ways of exploiting the potential that the petrol station audience offers to advertisers and our work is now expanding into the dealer network and the newly created convenience store partnership with Somerfield.
